Don't believe your computer......

I've traditionally known that the fall time change happens before Halloween... even my computer changes the time for me and I don't think twice about changing every other clock I own..... This year a numbskull is in charge of time changes and made us change the clocks 2 hours in the spring and fall back a week late..... WHY? daylight savings does NOTHING for those of us in Alaska where it gets dark and has the same amount of daylight on the same day each year. The Solstices and Equinoxes are exactly the same number of hours no matter what time the clock says so WHY do we bother?

Just a rant for a Monday morning.

No Reason, just for fun

I don't have a reason for writing tonight I just feel like it. I blame my recent desire to write on my Advanced Discourse Class and figure I can use this as my general play zone for non class posts. If the instructor feels like reading what I put here then by all means have fun.

I have several things on my mind. The recent goals I set for myself for the above class is one of the major ones. I have completed several things such as transferring a lot of my writings to my flash or external hard drive to make them more portable.

My big concern with that is that I might get a few things edited and updated but I was in general happy with what I wrote and so were the instructors I turned the papers in to. Most of my flubs or lack of points were in formatting the blasted MLA crap. I guess perhaps I can go through my previous term papers and put that stuff in the "proper" format but that's minor stuff in compared to what I thought might go on with this advanced class.

I expected to be writing a major paper and spending my time this semester doing the editing work on it. Perhaps I should be re-writing my Business Re-launch Business Plan and having it reflect what I've not accomplished recently. There just has not been time between work and homework to work on the goals set out in that project.

I enjoy blogging on various subjects and writing is certainly a fun past time for me. I guess I'll have to wait and see how it all goes.

Next concern is the possibility of moving next weekend. It'd be great to move into a bigger place just across the hall. It all depends on housing I suppose.

Well time to write up tomorrow's To Do List and head for bed.
